Welcome

The Centre Place is a service offering support to all young people aged 16-25 in Bassetlaw. They are able to help with a range of issues and provide up to date support and information. This may include housing needs or homelessness, benefits advice, help with bills or budgeting, debt management advice, help finding or maintaining education, employment or training and social support.

The centre also has a range of facilities which are available to all users, free of charge, including a washing machine and tumble dryer, shower and hygiene facilities, computers with internet access and a kitchen with food preparation facilities.

The Centre Place offers a drop in service where young people can turn up and get the support and guidance they need. There are two drop in sessions per week:

Tuesdays: 11am - 3pm
Thursdays: 2pm - 5pm

The centre can also provide an outreach service where they visit young people in a safe environment to discuss any issues they would like support with if they are unable to attend the centre for any reason.

Other sessions ran through The Centre Place are:

	A young parent’s support group aimed at young mums and dads as well as young mums with bumps and dads-to-be aged 16-25. Wednesday: 11am-3pm
	The Thursday Night Group offers support and a wide range of free activities to young people in Bassetlaw aged 16-25. Thursdays: 5pm-8pm
	A confidential support service for young people aged 16- 25 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or are questioning their sexuality.
	Talkzone offers free counselling in a safe, confidential environment to young people aged 16-25 living in Bassetlaw.
