During September and October 2025, The Centre Place teams from Talkzone and LGBT+ Nottinghamshire Service will be visiting all the secondary schools in the Bassetlaw area during lunch breaks, bringing plenty of information on supporting your mental health!

From Suicide Prevention Day on 10th September to World Mental Health Day on 10th October, we aim to help students and teachers focus on mental health. The theme for World Mental Health Day is "Mental Health in the Workplace," and we want to ensure that people in Bassetlaw and Nottinghamshire gain a better understanding of what that entails. 

On 19^th September, Youth Mental Health Day, as a leading charity on issues affecting young people, we believe it's essential to lead the conversation—listening to students, understanding what impacts their daily lives, and ensuring they are aware of the support available to them.
