Children's Mental Health Week

Theme: This is My Place.

This February, we’re proud to support Children’s Mental Health Week in Bassetlaw! From 9th to 15th February, we’ll be shining a spotlight on the importance of mental health for young people—and making sure families know where to turn for help and support.

This year’s theme, “This is My Place,” is all about helping children and young people feel secure, valued, and connected to the spaces and communities that matter most to them. A sense of belonging is vital for mental wellbeing, and we’re here to celebrate and strengthen that.

We’re teaming up with fantastic organisations across the area to bring you fun activities, helpful resources, and opportunities to learn more about mental health. Whether you’re a parent, carer, or young person, there’s something for everyone.

Why it matters: Mental health is just as important as physical health. By talking openly and providing support, we can help children and young people thrive.

Get involved!Join us for events, workshops, and activities throughout the week. Discover local services, connect with others, and find out how you can support the mental wellbeing of the young people in your life.

Stay tuned for more details on what’s happening near you—and let’s make mental health a priority together!
