This week is Transgender Awareness Week!
Every year, the week leading up to Transgender Day of Remembrance (20 November) is dedicated to highlighting the voices and experiences of trans people - and to shine a light on the challenges many young trans people continue to face, from discrimination to barriers in education, healthcare, and safety.

We’re committed to creating supportive spaces where trans and non-binary young people can feel seen, valued, and celebrated for who they are.
As part of this year's Transgender Awareness Week, our weekly LGBT+ groups will be taking part in fun and interesting activities that focus on trans history and celebrate trans icons!
If you think you'd like to join our LGBT+ Groups, we have a 11 - 16 group and a 16 - 25 group that meet weekly. We have created a supportive space, with fun and exciting activities, learning about the LGBT+ Community and offer support and advice too.
You can find out more about the groups by emailing lgbt@centreplace.org.uk or refer yourself here
