Are you bursting with creativity? Got big feelings? Want to use your voice — and maybe win a £20 voucher?
This April, for Stress Awareness Month 2026, we’re launching a brand‑new Poetry Competition for young people across Bassetlaw… and we want to hear your words.
Stress is something everyone deals with — school, college, friendships, family, the future, or just life doing its thing. Poetry is a powerful way to explore those feelings, express yourself, and be heard. Whether you write rhymes, free verse, or something totally unique, this competition is your chance to share your voice.
💭 What should your poem be about?

💭 What stress means to you
💬 Your own experiences
🔥 Things that cause you stress
