Talkzone offers a monthly parents and carers group to parents/carers with a child or young person aged 0-25, with a GP registration in Bassetlaw. Your child does not need to be engaging in the service for you to access peer support. The group will: ​ Enable parents and carers to discuss their child or young person's mental health and emotional wellbeing needs Discuss the impact this is having on themselves and/or the wider family. Staff facilitating the group will aim to: Hold a safe space where you can share your thoughts and feelings Provide you with information and advice around coping techniques Signpost you and your family to additional support if required Liaise with professionals from other services who may attend groups to share information or advice around topics identified by the group.
